Overall impression/best uses: The one that started it all, the OG, the MVP. Dior Sauvage EDT has been around the longest, and as such is the most recognizable. It is fresh enough to be used all year round in almost all situations, from beach parties to the office.
Performance would definitely be in the Parfum's favor, but as it is a stinker and the EdT (especially in vintage form) is a classic, the choice is easy in favor of the EdT, IMO. I'm really surprised that you don't like the Parfum version based on the type of fragrances you favor.
