If I had to choose, YSL wins practicality but Diorama wins aesthetics; but then again, a black Chanel WOC seems to be the winner in my eyes as a classic black wallet on chain. Good luck and keep us posted in your choice! I tend to wear lots of neutral colors and would prefer something more day to day for my 5'4 frame. I currently am considering these two bags: 1. YSL Wallet on a Chain (large) in black with gold hardware. 2. Celine Medium Classic Bag in Box Calfskin in black. I realize there's a steep difference in price haha. It really depends on what you are going for. If you are going for more a more classic vibe, then go with the YSL. If you want a bag with a bit of an edge to it, go with the Valentino. The Valentino is definitely a statement bag while the YSL is not.
It's hard to open and doesn't look like it will soften up anytime soon. Capacity is very small, even for a medium. If you overstuff the bag, the flap will warp at an angle and tilt to the side. Unlike the heavy YSL chain, this bag's chain feels like a forever 21 necklace (I also appreciate light chains too, doesn't necessarily feel cheap but it's more practical if you like lighter bags.)
